Rumours are currently circulating that one of the most popular phones in history is being re-launched at Mobile World Congress this month. Nokia’s 3310 is perhaps the best-loved, and is certainly one of the best selling, phones in history. The leak has come from Evan Blass, who first revealed the details earlier this week.
Blass has made leaked several tech stories to the press in recent years and has often been correct.
Nokia has so far refused to comment on the rumours.
The phone, originally released in 2000, will be sold as a way solving poor battery life in a rugged casing.
The new incarnation of 3310 will be sold for just €59.
Phones made under the Nokia brand are now sold by HMD Global, a Finnish company that bought the rights to the name.
