PageOne today announced its CEO, Chris Jones, has been awarded ‘The Global Critical Communications Industry Award’ in recognition of his significant contribution, innovation and support to the industry. Chris Jones was honoured at this year’s Critical Messaging Association (CMA) Convention, which took place in Washington, DC, last week.
Derek Banner, Chairman of CMA-Europe said, “Honouring Chris at this year’s convention was an obvious choice for our judges. He is well respected as a visionary among his peers and has positioned PageOne at the forefront of his industry achieving a level of success admired by many. Not only is he a leading voice in the critical messaging space, but he has also expanded market boundaries to develop, shape and promote innovative multichannel solutions. In addition, Chris and PageOne have supported and made major contributions which truly benefit the industry as a whole.” Ted McNaught Chairman of CMA-Americas added “It’s a testament to the current strength of our industry today that we had several very strong candidates, but ultimately it was Chris’s overall contribution to the development of this industry here in the USA that the judges felt merited the award this year”.
As CEO of PageOne, Chris Jones has lead the business since 2003, helping to develop an extensive portfolio of messaging solutions across both public and major corporate sector clients. After predicting the competitive opportunities for paging in Europe early on, Chris Jones has taken the company on a journey into the wider aspects of critical and non-critical messaging through many and varied technologies. His determination and knowledge has helped drive new and creative ways for organisations to stay connected with their customers, stakeholders and employees; and make more rapid, better informed decisions.
Chris Jones, CEO of PageOne said: “I am delighted to have received such a prestigious award; especially in an industry filled with exceptional talent. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the team at PageOne for their continued support. It is their sheer hard work, professionalism and dedication that has been the key to PageOne’s longevity and success.”
