Virtual1 came out on top at this year’s Comms Business Awards and set another record by being the first company to scoop 3 awards for the second time. The event, which was hosted by David Walliams, saw Virtual1 pick up the prestigious award for ‘ISP of the Year’, as well the ‘Channel Product of the Year (Professional Service)’ and ‘Channel Product of the Year – Overall’ for 1Portal. The awards are a great boost for Virtual1 and highlight the progress made over the last three years, as well as it’s growing prominence in the industry.
1Portal is recognised as being one of the pre-eminent reseller portals available within the channel, with the emphasis on speed of access; ease of use; and customercentricity. 1Portal is tried and tested, and well-liked, by Virtual1’s Partners, and is further supported by Virtual1’s continued innovation of new products for their Partners.
An example is their recent announcement of the launch of 1Cloud, their wholesale cloud offer, that enables resellers and channel partners to build their own cloud services for sale to their customers. 1Cloud delivers enterprise level technology at affordable prices with a pay-as-you-go pricing model.
Tom O’Hagan, Chief Executive and leading light of Virtual1, mentioned his ambitions of growing the Company over the next three years, where he will be more than doubling company turnover, and it’s accolades such as the Comms Business Awards that will help him on his way. He said on the night “These awards mean everything to us. Our whole business is geared to the Channel market so we have a lot of our customers here and some of our suppliers too. I am absolutely delighted and we have worked really hard to continue to be the best in the industry.”
