Chepstow based reseller Redbridge has announced that it has secured a major contract with T-Systems to upgrade the Thomas Cook head office, branch and call centre infrastructure in the UK. The contract involves migrating Thomas Cook from a number of disparate traditional telephony technologies to a Voice over IP solution based on Alcatel technology.
Redbridge has worked in partnership with T-Systems and Energis to provide a solution that will encompass Thomas Cook’s 600 travel agencies, the head office campus in Peterborough and its three call centres. Energis will be providing all incoming and outgoing voice circuits, whilst Redbridge will be providing all the hardware and software to support the project.
The Redbridge solution will include IP Call Servers based on Alcatel’s industry leading OmniPCX Enterprise products to provide distributed IP based call routing. This will be coupled with Alcatel’s OmniTouch Call centre solution to provide call centre agent positions as well as
