Restructure at Sennheiser UK

Phil Massey has been appointed General Manager of Sennheiser UK following the promotion of Managing Director Paul Whiting to the Sennheiser Executive Committee in Germany.

Phil Massey joined the company in 1998 and was promoted to Director of Operations and Finance in 2002, where he developed successful business processes along with structured forecasting and stock management. Phil is committed to overseeing the company’s continued success in the UK and Middle East, and Paul Whiting adds, “I am delighted that Phil has accepted this position and I am confident that he will build on his excellent track record within Sennheiser.”

The departure of Director of Sales - Simon Curtis, has also resulted in promotions within the company for Nick Longland and Dave Smith.

Nick Longland joined Sennheiser in 2004 to head up MI sales in the South. After great successes in that field he was appointed Business Area Manager. His new role as Sales Manager for Install, Pro Systems and MI Live will give him the opportunity to capitalise on the outstanding growth within these markets over the last few years.

Dave Smith joined Sennheiser in 2002 and has been a part of the Company’s success in developing the consumer market, spearheading major drives into high street retailers. His new role as Sales Manager for Consumer Electronics, Communications and MI Retail means that he will take over the leadership for these important business areas.

Phil Massey said, “These promotions are a reflection of the high quality of people we have here at Sennheiser and are a demonstration of the Company’s commitment to development and internal promotion. In these new roles, Dave and Nick’s considerable experience further enhances the strength of the whole Sennheiser UK team. The Company now looks forward to another successful and challenging year.”
