20 August 2008 – UK – Following on from Rocom’s recent announcement as ‘Siemens Distributor of the Year’, it today announces the formation of the Siemens Reseller Advisory Council as the channel’s thought leaders in respect of collaborative partnerships, best practice and policy shaping. It will be a 3-party Group involving distributor, reseller and manufacturer.
The initiative, from forward thinking Rocom, is a consequence of Siemens decision to re-structure its channel model to one of supply through distribution only. The founding resellers include acknowledged and leading Tier 1 Siemens Resellers – Lloyds Business Communications, Digital IP Ltd and Integra ICT Ltd.
