Avaya Blue data solutions and Avaya Flare video solutions, new additions to the ScanSource offering, were covered along with talks were given that outlined the benefits of the ACM market and encouraged resellers specialising in the SME-oriented IP Office market to provide solutions to larger Enterprise end-users.
The talks by high-level representatives from Avaya were so effective that several resellers immediately expressed their intention to move into the ACM market and two of these, with the support of ScanSource Communications Europe, have already closed their first deals.
Also featured at the event was the new, internally designed Avaya IP Office Designer. The tool was presented and demonstrated, receiving very good feedback from resellers who all signed up to use it at the end of the event.
“The extremely positive reception, coupled with the vast number of requests for the tool following last week’s official launch, shows that we can provide the technical expertise and value added services that resellers need to develop, putting us in a strong position to drive reseller growth in the market,” said Kim Jennings, Sales Manager, ScanSource Communications Europe.
Based on the positive feedback from resellers and Avaya speakers, ScanSource will run two more events in North West England (Manchester) on 24th November and Scotland (Livingston) on 25th November with the same agenda and same opportunities to meet and interact with ScanSource and Avaya representatives. In addition, ScanSource and Avaya will host an IPO 6.1 Engineering Event with Avaya technicians at the Avaya offices in Guildford on 4th November and an Avaya Data Boot Camp on 18th November at the Avaya offices in Maidenhead.
