Sensier Sees Channel Hosted Opportunity for ATC Sterry Group

Until last December Mark Sensier had run Leeds based LCR company T-Liaison but having sold his business to Alex Tupman at ATC/Sterry he is now Director of Network Services for the group and is busy integrating the companies, relocating to Harlow in Essex and taking on new staff.

Sensier sees a big opportunity for resellers to move in to hosted IP telephony with his Sinet offering. This is based upon the Mitel 3600 platform. T-Liaison, although now located within reseller ATC/Sterry remains a separate channel only operation.

“We can offer resellers a different approach to hosted solutions with a seamless integration between end to end services. We are running reseller workshops that deliver full accreditation and can provide applications and service support for those resellers that want to focus on sales including customer billing, a managed router, number porting and broadband.”

Sensier adds that ATC/Sterry is set to become an ISP with LINX and delivery QoS, noting, “The small independent carrier is under threat from low margins. Consolidation will continue and the value add will come from ISPs.”
