SpliceCom has kick started 2016 for their channel partners by adding Design Services to their portfolio. The service is a simple browser-based web portal that streamlines and unifies the tasks of system configuration, pricing and comparison.
“SpliceCom offer both soft and hard voice platforms, for deployment in cloud/data centre, on-premise and hybrid applications,” says Stuart Bell, Business Development Manager for the British vendor. “Although pure end-to-end IP is now very much the norm for new systems, there’s still a requirement to consider connectivity for existing ISDN trunks and analogue devices in many new quotes that we get involved with. With such a wide-range of configuration and deployment options we found that our resellers were increasingly spending more and more time analysing and then designing the best solution based on the most competitive price – often amounting to several hours. SpliceCom Design Services was specifically developed to greatly simplify these tasks.”
The new SpliceCom Design Services portal allows channel sales personnel to configure SpliceCom solutions – from 5 users to thousands – in under 2 minutes, providing comparisons between more traditional hardware-based systems and native or virtual “soft” voice solutions through a simple ‘one touch slider’ key.
“Once the systems have been configured SpliceCom Design Services then provides CAPEX and OPEX pricing, using 3 or 5 year Lease Rental options from SpliceCom Financial Services, for all options,” continues Bell. “The results can then be exported in.csv or Excel format for inclusion in the Resellers own sales tools, or simply applied to a customer quotation. Want to see what effects a change will make to a quote? Either amend the original it or make a copy and change that one.”
Being portal based, SpliceCom Design Services offer hierarchical management, so an Administrator or Sales Manager can see all the quotes made by their team.
“SpliceCom has built an enviable reputation of being easy to do business with,” says Bell. “The addition of SpliceCom Design Services continues this trend, and has been fantastically well received by our channel partners’. It takes just 20 minutes to comprehensively cover all aspects of the sales tool – and it frees up time for them to sell even more SpliceCom solutions,” concludes Bell.
