Scale Computing has announced the appointment of Mark Sproson as Country Manager for UK and Ireland. Sproson will be responsible for identifying new business, significantly boosting sales, and continuing to grow the company’s channel business through both new and existing partnerships. Sproson will be joining the growing team in EMEA, and reporting directly to Johan Pellicaan, VP and Managing Director for EMEA.
The appointment of Sproson comes after Scale Computing announced a number of recent milestone achievements, including a funding round of over $34 million and a global partnership with Lenovo. Scale Computing is looking to continue its momentum by bringing intelligent edge computing to partners, retailers, distributed enterprises, and SMBs. The company also recently revamped its channel partner programme, making its technology more accessible to managed service providers through a new subscription-based OpEx model.
