Tech Data is backing a Canon campaign that provides end-user customers with extra incentives to buy in the form of a free three-year warranty and ReadIris Pro 15 software bundled on selected scanners, plus the chance to win prizes worth up to £2000 instantly.
The Grow Your Business campaign also provides resellers with the opportunity to accumulate bonus l points in Canon’s ZIoC (Zoom-In on Canon) incentive scheme. In addition, resellers that sell seven or more models that are part of the Instant Win promotion before 16 December 2016 can win one of three cash prizes of £250, £500 and £1000.
Available with selected Canon printers and scanners, users can claim the free three-year warranty and free copy of Readiris Pro 15 OCR software (worth £99) simply by registering their product. Various models from Canon’s MAXIFY, i-SENSYS and imageFORMULA ranges are covered by the campaign.
To enter the Instant Win competition, customers will need to complete a few additional fields on the three-year warranty claim form. If they have won, they will be informed immediately. There will be up to 12 prizes per month. They include cashbacks of up to £2000 and e-vouchers (also worth up to £2000) for Virgin Experience Days.
“The Canon promotions are a great way to get customers interested in Canon scanners and printers at a time when more organisations are looking to digitise documents”, said Julie Honour, Print Business Manager at Tech Data. “In the public sector, courtrooms are going paperless and there is a push to reduce use of printed documents in the health service as well. More commercial companies are also looking to cut down on costs by archiving files to disk. Canon is a trusted brand that everyone recognises and the Grow Your Business promotion gives customers more reasons to buy and resellers added incentives to sell Canon products.”
