Tech Data Europe has announced a new Europe-wide agreement with Trackimo, a manufacturer of GPS personal tracking devices.
This exclusive agreement gives Tech Data’s reseller partners across its entire European footprint easy access to Trackimo’s range of personal tracking devices. Trackimo offers global, cross-border location tracking capability thanks to its combination of GPS and mobile technology. The Trackimo GPS tracker, which is small enough to fit in the palm of your hand, includes a SIM card with global service so that end users do not need contracts and no additional costs for roaming are applicable.
Trackimo devices can be followed via web or mobile app anywhere that GSM (2G) cellular reception exists worldwide. The Trackimo GPS tracker retails at 99€ with one year of global service included.
“Trackimo’s solutions are a great example of how mobile technology is revolutionizing the way we live our lives, offering customers an affordable, compact and reliable location tracking device with a variety of potential uses. These include monitoring the location of elderly or vulnerable loved ones and pets, or tracking property, including vehicles, luggage or package deliveries,” said Stephen Nolan, senior vice president, Tech Data Mobile. “We are very happy to support Trackimo in introducing their solution to the market. Tech Data Mobile’s position as a leading player in European technology distribution means that we are perfectly placed to extend the reach of their products throughout the channel in Europe.”
“We are very excited and proud that Tech Data has joined the respected list of Trackimo distributors around the world and we believe that they will excel in bringing our products to market,” said Shai Bar-Lavi, CEO, Trackimo.
