Pangea has seen substantial growth in their Partner Programme since Bernie McPhillips joined the global M2M and IoT connectivity and solutions provider as Sales Director in April 2017.
McPhillips has played a key role in the 19 percent increase in revenue quarter over quarter and this momentum is set to gain pace going into 2018 with further projected growth of 40 percent next year.
It is anticipated that the Pangea Partner Programme will consist of more than 100 active partners before the end of 2017.
McPhillips believes what is truly critical to this whole equation is the word “partners”. It’s not a euphemism for “externally contracted employees,” but rather a relationship built on give and take, where the risks and profits are shared amongst the associated parties.
McPhillips has lived and breathed this partnering culture for more than a decade, he knows what it takes to win and importantly wants to share successes with like-minded partners.
David Dungay recently spoke to Bernie at Channel Live.
McPhillips commented, “I have now been Sales Director at Pangea for 5 months, it has gone so quickly and has been an absolute pleasure since day one. Pangea very quickly felt like home. I did a video interview with our MD, Dan Cunliffe, a few weeks after joining and I said that the culture of a potential employer was very important to me. I quickly knew I had made the right decision in joining Pangea, the buzz about the place is incredible and the feeling of “we’re all in this together” is truly inspiring. Pangea is a Channel only business, we work exclusively with Partners and this has been so well received and has quickly established us as the Channel’s Choice for IoT. The results we are achieving speak for themselves, we are growing and growing quickly and have forged strategic partnerships with many of the Channel’s key and forward-thinking organisations. We have some amazingly exciting opportunities that we are working on, the rest of 2017 is shaping up to be incredible and 2018 will be simply phenomenal. I am proud of what the team achieved prior to me coming onboard, the foundations were already there for us to build on and I am pleased that I have been able to make a positive difference.”
