Two industry heavyweights have joined forces to offer resellers ‘next generation’ billing services as Nimans and Union Street strike a dynamic new partnership.
Nimans says teaming-up with the billing and provisioning experts represents ‘natural progression’ as it continues to evolve its network services proposition in an increasingly complex and sophisticated communications arena.
Union Street’s Head of Sales and Marketing, Vincent Disneur, comments, “We’re delighted to have been selected by Nimans, one of the channel’s foremost distributors, to provide a solution in this critical area of operations. As a fast-growing company, Nimans required a billing platform that could scale effectively whilst maintaining the high levels of speed, accuracy and detailed revenue analysis that its partners rely on.
“Using our aBILLity™ billing platform as a foundation, we’re working closely with Nimans to develop solutions that will provide further benefits for Nimans’ channel partners and enhance the company’s channel proposition.”
Mark Curtis-Wood, Head of Nimans Network Services, explained: “Over the last four years we’ve grown massively and just like any growing business it’s important to assess and review how our systems and tools support us and our customers in an increasingly automation-based world. Equally we’ve taken on board lots of feedback from our customers, many of which are already with Union Street so this partnership was the obvious choice.
“It’s natural progression of us growing up as a network services business in an arena where billing has become more complex. Whilst mobile is a big part of our business as we transition from traditional lines and minutes into event type billing for SIP, hosted and connectivity, we require different software platforms and billing solutions. It’s all part of our evolution journey, so we’ve taken the step to team-up with Union Street.
“A big part of our ethos is to enable resellers to self-serve and the foundational stone of this is making sure our billing system enables resellers to access key information at their fingertips when they need it. Union Street is not just a billing company but a software and technology specialist so they are a perfect fit for us. Their pedigree is second to none and they are an independent and trusted source. What our customers require from us in terms of billing has changed and evolved. As part of this we need to adapt our business and move forward together with a new billing system that can seamlessly link-up with our portal, The Hub. There has to be a synchronised link which we’ve now established in a unique way with Union Street. We are very much looking forward to working together to provide our customers with a competitive market advantage and unrivalled levels of service.”
