Varlink has added the OPH-3000 batch terminal to its Opticon portfolio. The OPH-3000 batch terminal is the latest addition to the OPH Series, it combines ergonomic barcode scanning with accurate data capture and software flexibility all packaged into a competitively priced solution.
Fully programmable, solution providers can create custom scanning solutions around the mobile device using the free Opticon SDK making it ideal for creating applications such as asset management, inventory control and mobile sales automation.
Ergonomically designed, the OPH-3000 features an elegant curved scan head with soft grip and weighs just 140 grams, ensuring comfortable scanning for all day use. It features a laser barcode scanner with a scan rate of 100 scans/second that quickly and accurately scans barcodes. Data that is collected can be stored and transferred via IrDA or the USB cable that is included in the box.
The OPH-3000 is equipped with a clear and easily readable 2”graphic TFT LCD QVGA colour display with backlight for easy user interface, and offers 128MB flash memory for intensive data collection.
The OPH-3000 is compact, reliable and durable device, it features a rugged IP54 rating, which seals against dust and moisture, and a 1.5m drop specification making it ideal for use within logistics, warehousing, retail, healthcare and light industry environments.
