vc-net, the collaboration company, announced today that it is expanding its channel to support growth in the network operator market. vc-net is looking to partner with a select number of resellers over the next 12 months to provide geographic and vertical sector coverage in the UK.
Dan Somers, Managing Director for vc-net explains: “Our carrier distribution agreements and converged network expertise offers resellers the opportunity to meet the total needs of their customers from network requirements to the service solution and maintenance, whilst securing additional recurring revenues from network contracts.”
Via its popular WAN Direct service, vc-net offers its selected resellers a complete virtual network operator and managed services solution to customers. This includes services such as IP-VPNs, VoIP and IP Telephony, DSL to Ethernet internet access, low cost voice calls and network infrastructure and security. In addition, its Cisco, Avaya and Microsoft certified engineers will be available to partners for pre-sales or implementation work as a white label service.
The only change from vc-net’s current channel programme will be the selection criteria for partners: “Selling an IP network is a long-term consultative process for many resellers, with a significant investment of time needed by vc-net in terms of training and joint-marketing,” said Somers. “Therefore it is our strategy to select just a few key resellers in chosen geographic and vertical markets, to provide coverage but to prevent over-competition or mis-selling. We want all of our chosen partners to enjoy significant revenue uplift and not worry about treading on each other’s toes.”
