Tom O’Hagan, Founder and Managing Director at Virtual1, has been named in the 2012 Young Guns list, unveiled this month by Growing Business.
Now in its 10th year, Young Guns lists the UK’s top 30 most successful entrepreneurs aged 35 or under. Previous winners include the founders of some of the UK’s most successful entrepreneurial businesses, including the founders of Innocent Drinks, Hawk-Eye Innovations, Nails Inc., and Notonthehighstreet.com.
O’Hagan said “I am delighted and honoured to be recognised by Growing Business. I believe that Virtual1’s success is a testament to the importance of putting customers first and foremost, and I am beyond proud of the team of people I have behind me, who have shared my vision and worked with me to help me accomplish it.
The Young Guns ‘Class of 2012’ were announced at an awards ceremony held in London and attended by some of the UK’s leading business owners and entrepreneurs.
Crimson Publishing’s Editorial Director, Ian Wallis, said: “The quality, diversity and uniqueness of entrepreneurial companies bursting through in the UK never ceases to astound. Starting and growing a fast-growth company is highly risky, exciting and most of all, damned hard work. Despite that and the backdrop of a tough economic climate, there’s no shortage of good entrepreneurs finding gaps in sizeable markets. This list celebrates entrepreneurial endeavour in glorious Technicolor.”
