Williams Departs Mitel for ATC Sterry

Campbell Williams has left his strategic marketing role at vendor Mitel and is set to join growing reseller ATC Sterry after the Whitsun break.

Williams has for some time undertaken a very public role at Mitel and been responsible for evangelising at the coal face on issues surrounding convergence applications.

Sources close to Comms Business Magazine this week said that Williams would be developing a number of new income streams at ATC including Sinet, the hosted IP Telephony solution the company is offering to the channel via T-Liaison, the Leeds based LCR business Alex Tupman bought six months ago.

Williams will be familiar with the Mitel 3600 platform the hosted applications are running on.

In moving to ATC Sterry, Williams will join a dynamic team headed by Tupman. Our source believes that the AIM listed company will be making further acquisitions in the near future.
