Yealink and Zoom Link Up

Yealink has announced a joint solution with Zoom Video Communications that includes a seamless combination of the Yealink VC110 All-in-One video conferencing endpoint and Zoom’s cloud-based HD video communications software. Yealink also launched a new tailored “One-Button Meeting Access” function with its VC110 to reinforce the joint solution. This solution is flexible – it targets small (4-6 people) to medium-sized (12 people or less) meeting rooms, although both Yealink and Zoom solutions are ideal for rooms of all sizes.

Yealink VC110’s all-in-one camera and codec design enables a small footprint with only three cable connections required (VC110 with Pod). Instead of complicated firewall configurations, the model gives users Plug-and-Play convenience with Yealink’s Intelligent Firewall Traversal technology. Users now can easily access to Zoom’s service through Yealink’s innovative One-Button Meeting Access function, then they can simply use their Meeting ID to establish multipart calls rather than resorting to a complex IP ADD process. As a result, the Yealink VC110 significantly simplifies the preparation for and process of video collaboration. In addition, it also offers multiple advanced hardware features that guarantee a pleasant user experience, such as dual-screen support, super-HD audio, wide-angle video camera (75° FoV), one-button USB recording and more.

“While Zoom is flexible and powerful enough for large conference and training rooms, we have seen the prevalence of smaller huddle rooms in recent years, and we know that most of these spaces are woefully unequipped to handle the needs of today’s workforce,” said Oded Gal, Zoom’s Head of Product. “By working together with Yealink, we can empower more teams with collaboration spaces that are enabled with video, audio, and screen sharing.”

“Our full range of videoconferencing solutions have achieved Zoom compatibility, and now we are excited to see our cooperation with Zoom deepen with this new joint solution,” said Stone Lu, Yealink’s Vice President. “Video collaboration is unquestionably one of the most effective tools to enhance business productivity but it’s not a tool reserved for large enterprises,” he added. “We are making video collaboration accessible for everyone. The joint solution is just a beginning and we look forward to further cooperation with Zoom.”
