Today, ZTE announced that it has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with channel distributor Exertis Micro-P, to manage UK distribution of its latest range of handsets and mobile products.
The partnership with Exertis Micro-P will improve access to and availability of ZTE’s range of high specification, affordable handsets and mobile products to UK channels. As the sole channel distributor for ZTE in the UK, Exertis Micro-P will play a key role supporting fulfilment for UK operators, as well as offering tailored support services for retailers large and small.
Chris Edwards, ZTE European Marketing and Business Development Director said of the deal: “The UK mobile device market is of strategic importance for ZTE in Europe. We want to improve access to affordable smartphones across the UK and with its extensive distribution network and reputation as a leader in its field Exertis Micro-P is perfectly placed to support.
Simon Woodman (pictured) , Sales Director, Mobile at Exertis Micro-P added: “ZTE has a first class range of competitively priced devices, from entry level android to hero 4G handsets. We expect ZTE to be popular with the UK retail channel and our aim is to leverage ZTE’s worldwide position and heritage to accelerate brand penetration in the UK handset market.”
