The product will be launched with Tiscali’s preferred voice partner Gamma Telecom which will distribute “Voice Ready” Premium Broadband to SME VARs and provide PSTN and associated voice services.
At the same time Tiscali has also announced a distribution partnership with business internet solutions company Griffin for its broadband products. Griffin is already a leading supplier of managed broadband to the channel based on IPStream and this partnership adds Tiscali LLU and Datastream to Griffin’s portfolio including the new Tiscali “Voice Ready” Premium products.
The “Voice Ready” Premium Broadband product will initially support up to 4 standard telephone lines with guarantees on packet loss, latency and jitter over a single broadband line. This is a natural replacement for customers with multiple existing telephone lines or the obsolete BT Business Highway product.
