Westcon-Comstor joins TSIA’s Channel Practice

Westcon-Comstor, a global technology distributor, has announced its membership with the Technology & Services Industry Association (TSIA). Alongside its TSIA membership, Westcon-Comstor has also been invited to join the association’s XaaS Advisory Board.

The Advisory Board, chaired by Anne McClelland, provides insights into the latest XaaS models and the requirements of vendors and partners, delivering recommendations on lifecycle strategies, platforms, and structures. Westcon-Comstor is the first distribution partner and member to sit on the advisory board.

David Grant, CEO of Westcon-Comstor, said, “As vendors move towards XaaS models and partners navigate a future where recurring revenues play an increasingly key role, TSIA will become even more integral to our industry. Having a seat at the table of the XaaS Channel Optimization practice’s Advisory Board, puts us at the centre of this evolution - and will provide our customers with the confidence that Westcon-Comstor is at the forefront of the XaaS debate.”

Anne McClelland, vice president of research, XaaS Channel Optimization of TSIA, added, “We are excited to embrace Westcon-Comstor a member of TSIA’s XaaS Channel Optimization research practice. With the help of TSIA, I know their commitment of evolving their business practices and delivery models for today’s “as-a-Service” realities with their technology vendors and their reseller partners will deliver dividends to their customers.

As a member, Westcon-Comstor will be able to access independent and data-driven research to help advance partner models and find new avenues for growth. Westcon-Comstor has said it will use TSIA’s library of content, events, and exclusive studies to create more value-added offers that will benefit customers and help drive the business forward.
